For the love of Top Chef*

I am a proud 2nd time champion of the YMCA's "Top Chef" competition at Teen City!

This week's challenge was to prepare a dish using a selection of staple materials, which included each team's choice of bread option that must be incorporated into the meal in some way. My teen partner was a doll, and she was so excited about our cooking adventure, and even more excited when we won!


 feast your eyes on this winner: we have an open face egg sandwich on a fresh bagel, with diced tomatoes, onions and green peppers, topped with spinach and homemade hollandaise sauce.

As for grad school, things are picking up and getting crazy as the semester winds down! The Y has been acting as an escape from the stressful grad student land :)
