I am currently/most recently....
*inspired by:
- the musical talents of The Low Anthem and The Swell Season (who are currently on tour and played the most amazing show I've ever experienced last week!)
-The River (we've been spending a lot of time together lately, me and good ol St. Lawrence...as it should be)
*working on:
- A new quit for my daybed (my first ever quilt, since the one I made in a sewing class a long time ago...which doesn't really count) I've been collecting fabric for a couple years and just got the pattern for FREE online!
- more books, earrings, and prints for our market shop!
*convinced I'll never:
- be a lazy parent (I've seen the 2 extremes, and with all my little family members around, I've realized it's much more fun to entertain/teach/play with/learn from kids than it is merely "watch" them and keep them from harm...and everyone's better off!)
- get sick of making things
- settle for the easiest thing (I like accomplishing things even when I don't have to...which is how I've kept busy all summer without having a job!)
*hoping I'll always:
- love kids and encourage their imaginative abilities
- be able to come home to Taylor Lane
*missing:
- City festivities (places to go & things to do after 8pm)
- my social life (home= 98 % family time...as it should be)
*appreciating:
- down time to work on projects that have always been on my "someday" list
- the peace and tranquility that comes with living in the country
- the hilarious antics of my niece and nephew on a daily basis
- time with my gram <3
